Our Content Is Information, Not Repair Instructions
The pages on this site describe the appliances we work on, the symptoms we see, and what usually causes them. That information is meant to help you recognize a problem and decide what to do next. It is not a repair manual, and it is not advice for your specific appliance. Appliances involve electricity, gas, water, and moving parts, and we do not recommend opening one up on your own. If something on this site seems to describe your situation, the right next step is to call us, not to start taking things apart. If an appliance sparks, smells like burning, or you smell gas near it, stop using it. For a gas smell, leave the area and call your gas utility before anything else.
The Repair or Replace Calculator
Our appliance repair or replace calculator gives typical repair and replacement cost ranges based on the appliance type, symptom, age, and quality tier you enter. Those ranges come from general repair data, not from an inspection of your appliance. They are a starting point for a conversation, not a quote, and we do not promise that your repair will fall inside them. Your actual price is confirmed after our technician diagnoses the appliance in person.
Virtual Appliance Diagnostic Calls
A Virtual Appliance Diagnostic Call is a live video conversation with one of our technicians that costs $50, paid when you book. It gives you guidance and an honest opinion based on what we can see and hear over video. Some problems cannot be diagnosed that way, and we will tell you when that is the case. The call is not a substitute for an in-home diagnosis, and any cost figures discussed on it are estimates until we confirm them in person. If an in-home visit follows, the $50 is credited toward our $125 diagnostic fee.
Appointment Requests and Pricing
Submitting a form on this site is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Our office confirms appointments by phone or email during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and offers weekday windows of 9 AM to noon or 1 PM to 4 PM.
Our in-home visits carry a $125 service call and diagnostic fee. After diagnosing the appliance, our technician gives you an exact repair price, and no work begins until you approve it. When you go ahead, the diagnostic fee is applied to the repair. Completed repairs are covered by our 90-day labor warranty and 1-year parts warranty, described on our warranty policy page.
